Fight MMA Class
The Ultimate Fighter program affectionately called “Fight Club” by the students, and the first rule of fight club… Is to talk about “Fight Club”.
This program takes the best of several different styles of Martial Arts and their fighting skills and puts them into a rotating curriculum. This way you effectively learn all forms of fighting.
These classes are on a three month rotation, during those three months you will learn specific skills, and put them into practice. With controlled sparring and safety equipment you will learn, have a blast, and shred weight.
The Three month cycle include Muay Thai, Point Sparring, Boxing, Continuous, Sparring, and Combat Sparring.
Muay Thai is an art from Thailand, where they specialize in kicking, punching, elbows and knees. You will use every part of your body as a weapon. You don’t have to be strong to hurt a bigger guy with an elbow strike.
Point Sparring comes from our karate systems. The idea is that the chest, and head are your only targets. Knowing this makes it easier to stop your opponent from hitting you. So the trick… is to get your opponent to open up so that you can strike one of these areas.
Boxing, is as American as you can get, theirs is only punching. So now you have to be very sneaky if you plan on getting a strike in on your opponent. But by working only the hand skills for three months, you will master your hands and make you a formidable fighter.
Continious Sparring, is the same as point sparring. Now you have to set up’s attacks to open up a new target. So now it becomes a chess game I strike to the head, make you block and go for the stomach then back to the head.

Combat Sparring is the last in the series and we saved the funnest for last. We will utilize all the other sparring skills, and bring in Judo and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. So now you will work your way into your opponent to take them down, and submit them.
At the end of this cycle you have accomplished a lot of work, and you are on your way to greatness, then we reapeat the whole thing in the advanced levels all over again!
